Moundridge, KS is located on 40 miles north of Wichita, KS; Interstate 135 at exit 46. Lyons, KS is located 14 miles North and 30 miles West of Moundridge, KS. Ron recommends those who are coming in on Friday to get motel reservations in McPherson, Hesston, or Newton. See below for lodging information.

From McPherson, KS (I-135 exit 60). West through town on Hwy
56, 30 miles to Lyons, KS junction of Hwy 56 & 14 (Stop light).
4 Blocks west on Hwy 56 (past Courthouse, Hardware Store & DQ)
to Douglas Street (Dr. Office on SW corner)
4 Blocks south on Douglas (past School) to Lincoln Street.
1 Block west on Lincoln to St. John.
1/2 Block South to 510 S. St. John (White house on East side
of street). Parking in the paved drive on N side of house or in large grass
area on S. Side of house or if wet on the street to the south. RR
Crossbucks will be posted in Front Yard. Come to the backyard for a "cool
one", lots of food, fun, and NG R&R.
If you are coming in on I-135 northbound take exit 46, turn left
and head west into town.
Go to the 4-way stop (only one in town) turn right and go 1 1/2 blocks.
On your left side is a white church, pull into the parking lot, we have
permission to park there, my house is behind the church.
For those of you coming in from the north on I-135 take exit 48, turn right and head south into town. As you are approaching the 4-way stop in the center of town start looking for the white church on your right. Turn right into the parking lot.
If you are coming in from the South or West you probably know your way around, if not, we are 1 1/2 blocks North of the 4-way and 1/2 block west.
Keep in mind this is a narrow gauge train order, so all times are flexible.

For those coming in Friday afternoon/evening to Ron Proffitt's in Lyons, KS you can stay in Lyons or better would be to stay in McPherson. McPherson is 30 miles east of Ron's and 15 minutes from Ken's. For those coming from the South the motels in Newton or Hesston are fine. For those coming in from the North or East the motels in McPherson would be best. The I-135 exit for Moundridge is 46 when coming from the South. Exit 48 from the North. If you plan to fly in; Lyons, McPherson, and Moundridge have excellent airports and we can pick you up.
